![]() This keyboard would be better described as "lightly used" than any kind of certified refurbished. I received mine with scratches and goop on it, and it was still set up under someone else's name. (Thanks for the keyboard, Ivo!) If there's quality control going on with these, it would be generously described as lax. The keyboard itself works great, and for the discounted price over new, I can make it work. Reviewed in the United States on ApGiven my experience, I would say there's a lot of variance in what kind of product you'll actually receive. Tried to save a couple bucks by getting a refurbished keyboard, but in the end it was just a waste of time. The Z, B, & ESC keys were not working at all. Literally unboxed and re-boxed in the first 5 minutes. Went straight to Apple and got one the same day, brand new for only a few dollars more.should have known better. Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2021Ĭondition/function of the keyboard seemed fine. But it looked like it was never throughly cleaned, and likely never disinfected prior to shipping out again. There was what appeared to be literal boogers on the back and on the F13 key. Seriously? Additionally, there was no packaging around the keyboard, instruction booklet, or seal on the box. Just a keyboard and lightning cable inside an unsealed box. Reviewed in the United States on MaI'm all for buying refurbished/renewed products at a discount, but c'mon, at least have the standards in place to clean and properly repackage. I tried a cheaper wireless keyboard and was sorely disappointed. Then I bought an Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard and now I can keep up with my battery charge while not compromising any functionality that came with the cheaper hybrid keyboard. I have not had to reset/reconnect after the initial connection. If you feel the price is too high, look into Amazon's certified refurbs. I wanted to ditch an older keyboard with batteries Cheaper price and the same warranty as the new keyboards. Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2021Īs mentioned above, I was looking to ditch an older, AA battery model and I wanted to have the number pad back. If you work in the number of spreadsheets I do, the number pad is quite handy. I appreciate the wedge design - it feels more sturdy on the desk than the older models which had the rounded upper end (to accommodate the two AA batteries). This is my daily driver for work, so I'm enjoying the experience. Verified PurchaseEarly Reviewer Rewards(What's this?) The only downside I've been able to find thusfar (and this is totally subjective) is the feel of the keyboard - it's difficult to find the home keys on the number pad, which often results in the occasionally mistype. However, the rest of the keyboard is remarkably solid and, due to the shape of the base, does not rattle on the desk as you type like the wireless keyboard that originally came with the Mac did.Ĭomfortable keyboard for work and more.
